Construction Continues

by Adam Robbert

I’ve made a few changes around the site. In addition to the obvious alterations in decor, I’ve also updated and expanded the “Categories” section. This is something I have been very lax on in the past, making almost no use of the feature.

Readers will now find several new categories in the side column, as part of my ongoing effort to make the content on this site more easily accesible. All of my previous posts are now appropriately catalogued for easy searching as well (I actually took the opportunity to go through and delete some older posts — I think the quality definitely declines as you go further into the past, which I suppose is a positive sign pointing towards a general state of improvement).

Also, you will notice that I have included an “Aesthetics” section. When I first started this blog, I posted short clips of video and other pieces of art that I came across. After a short time, I stopped doing this because I felt that it diluted the blog content — there just seemed to be too many different genres of activity happening for one site. I sort of regret this now, and I’ll be posting more art-related content in the near future. It won’t be as frequent as the theory stuff, but I want to incorporate more of it going forward. We’ll see how it gels with the rest of the site.

Last, I’ve also added a “Best of Blog” section, where I will be transferring the best of what gets posted in the blog stream. This is one way I have come up with to keep the really good stuff available, whilst still allowing the blog medium’s real-time appeal to take center stage.

I am open to suggestions on other ways that the site can become more accesible, interesting, and interactive. If you have any thoughts, please feel free to share them in the comments section.
